OUR MISSION
The mission is for the gallery to be an innovative and inspiring center of contemporary art where audiences experience the ideas and art of contemporary artists, and perhaps understand something of the cultural and social context of the art in the gallery.  We hope to engage diverse audiences and build a sense of community by providing a home for discussion and contemplation of contemporary art and culture, as well as the social and cultural issues of our day.

The gallery will exhibit and promote contemporary artists from emerging contemporary art cultures in the Asia-Pacific region.  The work of the artists reflects the social, political, and cultural issues of our time and document changes in each of their cultures. The gallery will host solo and group exhibitions from local and international artists. The gallery welcomes artists and audiences from all races and genders and promotes and celebrates diversity and respect for all people.

We hope that our audiences can explore and experience art, creativity, be illuminated, challenged and excited, and experience our shared humanity and develop and understanding and appreciation of the creative process and art and the artists’ role in engaging and creatively reflecting the changing world around us.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to spread the inspirational message of the art in the gallery to people across all parts of society and create an impact on their imagination and outlook on life. We hope audiences will interact and engage with the gallery’s contemporary artists, creating a gathering space for exchange and dialogue.  With the exchange between local and international artists and their art, the gallery hopes to be a lively cultural hub to open eyes and minds to new contemporary art, to generate discussion around the creation of art.  We hope that the artists represented grow though this exchange and hopefully we can help them become cultural leaders of international repute and find new homes for their ideas and their art across the world.
