Her paintings are often faceless not because she needed to hide something. It is actually the exact opposite. The works of Irish Glori Galon, the Boholana artist who now lives in Trece Martires in Cavite are actually a kind of exposition of the self—those inner longings; the secret dreams of a woman, a mother, a wife, and an artist; the personal realizations, the fragments of personal truths that she wanted to share to the world; the secret pains and agonies the she endured and overcame; and her analyses of things that is happening in society.
